The School is proud to announce that the Headmaster, Mr Neil Chippington succeeded Mr Paul Smith, Headmaster of Hereford Cathedral School, as Chairman of the Choir Schools鈥 Association (CSA) on 1st September 2018 in its Centenary Year. CSA is the umbrella organisation for 35 choir schools educating choristers for cathedral and collegiate foundations in the UK. A further 11 choral foundations and schools have Associate members to CSA which was founded in 1918 to oversee the welfare and educational needs of choristers.
The music scholars' concert seeks to provide an excellent opportunity for the potential music scholars to perform their audition repertoire in front of a supportive audience in the days and weeks before their auditions take place.
It's a far from silent night in the stable 鈥 until Mary and Joseph arrive, bringing peace among the animals. Parents and pupils alike were treated to a magical nativity of colourful costumes, clear voices and tuneful, catchy songs with KG鈥檚 rendition of their Christmas story. The children performed the familiar nativity story but with a twist. Not Such A Silent Night is the story of Larry the lamb who runs away from his stable in Bethlehem. Larry soon realises that he鈥檚 made a terrible mistake and decides to return with some help along the way.
This year marks the School鈥檚 fifth year of participation in the Shakespeare Schools Festival (SSF), which is the world鈥檚 largest youth Drama Festival. This year鈥檚 play from the 欧美自拍鈥檚 team was Romeo and Juliet, the classic tale of the 鈥榯wo star-crossed lovers鈥 from opposing families, the Capulets and the Montagues. The production incorporated live music, composed and conducted by Ms Harris. Parents described this year鈥檚 performance of as 鈥渢ruly wonderful鈥 and 鈥渏ust amazing鈥.
Fireworks Night at 欧美自拍鈥檚 College School always marks the real start of winter and is, without exception, the most splendid display in the area. This year parents, children and friends came out in large numbers to marvel at the rockets and Catherine wheels in a cold, clear sky. There was barely time for the Headmaster, Neil Chippington, to count down before the first blast of colour rocketed upwards.
Form 4 visited Wandlebury Country Park, a 110 acre estate in the Gog Magog hills, just south of Cambridge for an orienteering activity and to learn about the history of the park and park management.
Three 欧美自拍鈥檚 Choristers, one aged 13 and two aged 11, performed an organ recital at the Church of Our Lady and the English Martyrs, known affectionately as OLEM, on 3 October 2017. All three performers have been taught by Mr Nigel Kerry, Director of Music at OLEM.

The 欧美自拍鈥檚 community has supported the Mustard Seed Relief Missions charity for over 15 years to help underprivileged children throughout Eastern Europe by inviting children and families to think of others by filling a shoebox with gifts for a boy or girl this Christmas. The 欧美自拍鈥檚 College School PA鈥檚 Macmillan Coffee Morning took place in the wonderful location of the 欧美自拍鈥檚 College Master鈥檚 Lodge on 29 September and a huge 拢1,081 was raised for the charity through generous donations and the raffle. The event was a sell-out and almost 100 parents took advantage of this opportunity to enjoy coffee and home-baked cakes in the historic surroundings of the Lodge and its garden, the private home of the Master of 欧美自拍鈥檚 and his wife.
